Supplement to the .Republic of Zambia Government Gazette dated Friday, 16th January. 2009 19 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATl!fORY INSTRUMENT No. 2 OF- 2009 The Income Tax Act (Laws, Volume 19, Cap. 323) The Income Tax (Foreign Organisations) (Approval and Exemption) Order, 2009 IN EXERCISE of the powers contained in section .fifieen of the Income Tax Act, the following Order is hereby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Foreign Organisations) (Approval and Exemption) Order, 2009. Title and WIIIIIDuilliJt 2 . (1) The following Organisations are hereby approved for the purpose ofexemption from tax: (a) the Afrrican Development bank; and (b) the African Export Import Bank. (2) The Income of the institutions approved in paragraph (2) of this Order shall be exempt from tax under subparagraph (5) of paragraph 5 of part Ill of the Second Schedule to the Act.
