A judge or court may increase the penalty by one degree in serious cases, and by two degrees if the number of deaths is very high. The judge or court may impose a higher penalty, by one degree or by two degrees, if the case is especially serious and the stated injury-related conditions are met. Publicly distributing content online, by phone, or similar technologies that promotes or incites suicide of protected minors or disabled persons is punishable by 1 to 4 years in prison. People convicted of one or more offences covered by this Title may also be given supervised release if the victim is one of the persons listed in Article 173(2). People convicted of certain listed offences involving a minor victim may receive an additional special disqualification from work or activities involving regular, direct contact with minors.
